UPS has announced partnerships with Kaiser Permanente, CVS Health, AmerisourceBergen and University of Utah Health as it looks to give its mHealth drone delivery business a nationwide platform.

A drone delivery service developed by UPS is going nationwide, giving health systems and pharmaceutical companies a new mHealth channel to transport supplies, records and other products to and from healthcare sites.

UPS has recently announced a slew of partnerships aimed at expanding the connected health capabilities of its UPS Flight Forward business line, launched earlier this year with California-based drone company Matternet. UPS was granted permission by the Federal Aviation Authority in September to operate commercial drone flights through UPS Flight Forward.
