Though the integration of artificial intelligence into healthcare is moving at a cautious rate, the technology continues to offer massive potential to revolutionize care delivery and outcomes.
In a recent article in the Journal of General Internal Medicine, Steven Lin, MD, and Megan Mahoney, MD, both from Stanford University, and Christine Sinsky, MD, the AMA’s vice president for professional satisfaction, described 10 areas of primary care that stand to be most enhanced by AI.
