There has been a lot of discussion recently about the impact that the newly formed US Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) will have on the federal workforce and overall US budget. Whatever your views on DOGE may be, one thing is certain: Depending on how the cuts are made, longer-term US innovation may likely suffer.
