While there is no single panacea for home-based care providers to overcome business challenges, operate more efficiently and expand operations, technology has repeatedly emerged as a critical component of providers’ strategies for 2025 and beyond.

Top of mind for home-based care providers is improving efficiency through AI and predictive analytics, as well as improving patient outcomes. Standing in the way of adopting these tools, however, are the challenges of integrating multiple technology systems and training employees.

That’s according to a survey of 109 home-based care industry insiders conducted by Home Health Care News. Over 70% of the respondents were executives or held other operational roles.
