Ahead of the beginning of open enrollment on the ACA marketplace, the Biden administration is touting 2023 as the most “competitive marketplace in history” for exchange plans.

According to a CMS news release published Oct. 26, 92 percent of Americans will have three or more options to choose from on the marketplace. This number is up from 89 percent last year.

“We have been tireless in our efforts to increase competition, drive down costs, and connect people to coverage,” HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra said in the news release.
