Based on Apple’s recent partnerships and moves in the digital health space, IT market intelligence platform CB Insights made predictions on where the tech giant could go next in a new report.

Five insights:

  1. Apple is aiming to aggregate patient data to create novel data points and then partner with consumer-direct data sharing with clinicians and researchers. 
  2. Apple will continue efforts to connect patients with their medical records, according to the report. The tech giant is aggregating EHR data from hundreds of hospitals across the U.S., Canada and the U.K.
  3. Apple will likely expand Apple Watch sales with partnerships with payers...
