CLASH OF THE TECH TITANS — Is an “artificial general intelligence” that can largely surpass human cognitive capacity possible? If so, when is that “superintelligence” coming? Would it destroy humanity? These are among the biggest, most existential questions in the tech world right now.

Yet this week, those concerns have been litigated through the lens of partisan politics.
