Earlier this spring, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued a pivotal rule titled Discrimination on the Basis of Disability in Health and Human Service Programs or Activities. This regulation mandates that health care organizations that receive federal financial assistance ensure their website content and mobile applications are accessible to individuals with disabilities.
