Over the past two decades, Medicare Advantage (MA) enrollment has grown substantially, eventually outpacing traditional fee-for-service Medicare. By 2024, 32.8 million out of more than 61.0 million (54 percent) Medicare beneficiaries chose to enroll in MA.
