Greenfield, Ind.-based Hancock Health is outsourcing 49 revenue cycle team members to Revology, a revenue cycle management firm, effective Nov. 4, due to increasing difficulties in meeting insurance company demands.
“Simply put, our Hancock Health revenue cycle team is amazing, but we need more bench strength,” a spokesperson for Hancock Health said in a Sept. 24 statement shared with Becker’s. “Please know this decision was not made lightly and is not an effort to reduce FTEs or to save money.
