The annual industry event may be over, but the experiences and announcements shared can have a lasting impact.

Artificial intelligence remained a hot topic at the 2025 ViVE conference in Nashville, Tenn., and conversations about what is possible became more grounded in clear use cases.

A Mayo Clinic nursing leader, for instance, shared lessons from recent go-lives of an ambient documentation tool for nurses. And a Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin health network leader discussed the use of agentic AI to direct patients.

But beyond the AI discussions, there was also a focus on cybersecurity one year after the Change Healthcare attack. There was also talk of the importance of improving health equity and access as new technologies become...
