ChatGPT Isolated at the Top
Since May 2024, when ChatGPT switched from its old domain (chat.openai.com) to chatgpt.com, it has set new traffic records.
OpenAI’s tool is now the 11th most-visited website globally, surpassing amazon.com (with 2.6 billion monthly visits, though that excludes Amazon’s international domains). For context, google.com has 82 billion monthly visits, while youtube.com has 28 billion.
