VA is requesting information from vendors that can help the agency design, integrate, and support data-driven EHR integrations.

The US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has requested information regarding data-driven EHR integrations, such as clinical decision support (CDS), precision medicine, artificial intelligence (AI), and application program interfaces (APIs).

VA’s goal is to leverage data-and user-based approaches by purchasing EHR solutions and training solutions. The agency said it seeks more information about specific EHR solution capabilities, deliveries, and other market information on how to purchase the tools.

VA officials highlighted seven tasks that may require potential vendors or partnerships.
