The partnership addresses food security and social determinants of health by connecting patients with nutritious food at the point of care.

A public-private partnership between the Department of Veterans Affairs and Feeding America has provided over 710,000 meals to veterans as a part of VA’s efforts to address the social determinants of health, according to an agency blog post.
