The Department of Veterans Affairs is making measurable progress in its effort to implement a unified Oracle Health EHR system across all VA medical centers by 2031, according to Paul Lawrence, PhD, deputy secretary of Veterans Affairs.

Dr. Lawrence wrote in a June 16 LinkedIn post that the department is currently engaged in deployment activities at 11 sites across Michigan, Southern Ohio and Indiana, all of which are slated to go live with the new EHR system in 2026.
