Abstract
Health care payment reforms in the US have aimed to encourage the use of high-value care while discouraging the use of low-value care. However, little is known about whether the use of high- and low-value care differs by income level. Using data from the 2010–19 Medical Expenditure Panel Survey, we examined the use of specified types of high- and low-value care by income level.
