U.S. News & World Report will incorporate software from 3M Health Information Systems into its “2023-2024 Best Hospitals Specialty” rankings to incorporate insights on patient safety outcomes for common outpatient surgeries.
The publication will use the 3M Ambulatory Potentially Preventable Complications software in its rankings to measure outpatient outcome measures in its evaluations of hospital performance, according to a July 14 press release from 3M Health Information Systems.
