Pittsburgh-based UPMC Enterprises and Nashville, Tenn.-based Vanderbilt Health have signed on to a digital consortium with nine other health systems to develop and invest in new healthcare technologies.

Startup studio Aegis Ventures welcomed UPMC Enterprises, the innovation and venture capital arm of UPMC, and Vanderbilt to the collaborative that started in April out of a partnership with New Hyde Park, N.Y.-based Northwell Health.
