In 2023, the percentage of uninsured Americans remained stable, according to a new report from the US Census Bureau based on data from the 2024 Current Population Survey Annual Social and Economic Supplement (CPS ASEC).1 While the overall percentage of Americans without insurance did not statistically significantly change, rates of uninsurance varied across age and poverty levels.2
