The final report from the UN’s AI advisory body pointed to a ‘global governance deficit with respect to AI’ and made several recommendations to address this.

Entire parts of the world have been completely left out of conversations around AI governance.

That’s according to a report from the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General’s High-level Advisory Body on Artificial Intelligence (HLAB-AI), which was released today (19 September).

The Governing AI for Humanity report discussed in detail the risks and challenges around governing AI and created key recommendations for addressing these risks.
