Patients will soon have a new alternate treatment method to access care remotely through Medpod MobileDoc 2. Henry Schein Medical, a medical supply vendor, today announced that the new medical microcart for telediagnostic examinations will integrate with Uber Health.

Medpod and Uber Health also entered an agreement in which the rideshare service will give Medpod access to its browser-based online dashboard. This will allow Uber Health’s service to be directly integrated into Medpod’s telediagnostic platform.

Through the agreement, providers with a Mobile Doc can dispatch an Uber driver to a patient’s location or arrange for a patient to be driven by Uber Health to a clinical care setting.
