AI agents will make decisions that affect human lives, wealth and well-being. Yet we’ve built these systems on black-box architectures where their decision paths remain opaque.
Humans don’t trust what they can’t verify. We’ve learned this lesson repeatedly throughout history, from financial systems to democratic institutions. Trust requires transparency, but transparency alone isn’t enough. We need immutable records of what happened and why.
This is where blockchain enters the story as a fundamental shift in building AI systems. Imagine every decision an AI agent makes being recorded on an immutable ledger—not just the decision but the entire path that led to it—the training data, the model updates, the decision branches—all preserved and auditable.
