Trinity Health of New England is transitioning the employment of more than 100 physicians at its Connecticut hospitals to Vituity, a physician-owned medical group headquartered in California.

Vituity, which has more than 500 practice locations across multiple states, will manage emergency medicine and hospitalist medicine services at the health system’s three acute care hospitals in Connecticut, Trinity said in a statement provided to Becker’s.

The hospitals include: St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury and Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs.
