When Doug Olson, PhD, first named his dream of creating a sustainable, successful path for more young professionals to enter the field of senior living and long-term care, he called it “Vision 2025.” That was at least eight years ago.

With 2025 inhabiting our calendars, Olson’s Vision is occupying the minds, interest and commitments of more and more key people. And in more places.

Several years ago, Vision 2025 morphed from a college professor’s big project into the more fully developed Vision Centre. It now sports paid staff, certified nonprofit status and hundreds of willing industry supporters. They include virtually every national professional association for senior care and housing professionals.
