Whole Health Rx will be powered by WellSync, which develops customizable telehealth services for businesses.

New Jersey-based nutritional supplements supplier The Vitamin Shoppe announced its launching of Whole Health Rx, a telehealth service that will connect users with providers to help them access GLP-1 medications for weight management.

GLP-1s, or glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists, are a class of medications used to treat type 2 diabetes but have recently become more popular for managing chronic weight conditions.

The Vitamin Shoppe’s platform will allow users to obtain online medical assessments and access GLP-1s, such as Ozempic, Rybelsus, Mounjaro, and versions of tripeptide and semaglutide. The platform will also offer nutritional support, educational resources and guidance on lifestyle practices.
