TIME last week released its list of the “World’s Top Health Tech Companies,” with 58 U.S. firms earning an “outstanding” rating — the highest tier in the list.
Methodology
To compile the list, TIME and Statista evaluated health tech companies worldwide on:
- Financial performance: Profitability, growth, and market strength (50% of score)
- Reputation analysis: Perception among patients, providers, and investors (30% of score)
- Online engagement: Visibility and impact across digital platforms (20% of score)
Scores were assigned across these three dimensions, and companies were placed into categories of “outstanding,” “very high,” or “high.” The 400 companies with the highest scores were recognized on the list.
