The Supreme Court agreed to hear an appeal regarding the future of the Affordable Care Act

The Supreme Court will most likely hear the ACA case in the fall and is expected to announce a decision in 2021
On March 2, 2020, the U.S. Supreme Court accepted an appeal by 21 state attorneys general (AGs) led by California, in California v. Texas (formerly Texas v. United States), to decide whether the Affordable Care Act (ACA) should remain in place. The Court also accepted a cross-appeal by Texas and other states opposing the ACA asking that the entire law be invalidated. The Court will issue its decision...
