New data shows enterprise AI adoption has jumped to 72%, up from 50% in previous years, according to McKinsey’s 2024 Global Survey on AI but as companies rush to implement generative AI, they’re hitting significant roadblocks.

Most companies can set up generative AI systems in 1-4 months, and analysts expect that by 2025, AI will automate half of all digital work through an estimated 750 million AI-powered applications. But real-world results tell a different story.
