Every orthopedic surgery residency program in the U.S. filled all of its slots for 2025, according to data from the National Resident Matching Program released March 21.

Just seven states, Alaska, Delaware, Idaho, Maine, Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming, lack orthopedic residency programs.
