There’s been a lot of discussion in recent times about the comfort levels of business leaders with artificial intelligence, particularly generative AI. By some accounts, they have been shying away from relying too much on the technology. Is this shyness disappearing?

This hesitancy seems to be disappearing fast. Nearly three in four executives, 72%, report using gen AI at least once a week, up from 37% in 2023, a new survey of 800 executives out of the University of Pennsylvania’s AI research center, AI at Wharton, finds. Wharton collaborated with GBK Collective to produce the survey.
