U.S. News and World Report published its list of the top Medicare Advantage insurers in every state Oct. 20.

The top rankings are based on CMS’ star ratings of each plan. U.S. News designated plans rated at least three out of five stars by CMS and whose plans have an average rating of 4.5 or more stars within the state as “Best Insurance Companies.”

Here is the top-rated plan by state. Insurers designated as best insurance companies by U.S. News are marked with an asterisk.
