Healthgrades on Tuesday named this year’s recipients of its annual America’s Best Hospitals Awards, which recognizes the 250 top hospitals in the country.

The 2020 America’s Best Hospitals list encompasses three awards:

  • America’s 250 Best Hospitals, which represent the top 5% of hospitals in the United States;
  • America’s 100 Best Hospitals, which represent the top 2% of hospitals in the United States; and
  • America’s 50 Best Hospitals, which represent the top 1% of hospitals in the United States.

To identify award winners, Healthgrades reviewed the performance of nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide. The analysis looked at performance on 32 procedures and conditions, such as heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, respiratory...
