On October 27, 2017, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services released its proposed 2019 Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters. The proposed rule was accompanied by a fact sheet and guidances on the implementation of the new SHOP exchange and essential health benefits requirements. Finally, CMS also released on a draft actuarial value (AV) calculator and AV calculator methodology.
