— Let’s make the telemedicine option permanent

This week, something good in healthcare that was going away actually got a reprieve.

The end of this month we were coming up on the termination of insurance coverage for telehealth visits for Medicare patients, with the expectation that other insurance companies were probably going to follow along. Although I haven’t read all of the details yet, we’ve heard that Congress has granted a 6-month extension and will continue to cover these services, at least for now. As far as I can tell, this is good news for everybody.
