Sutter Health announces a chief nurse for the system, and other leaders tackle new challenges.

Melissa Golombek has been appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer of Tampa General Hospital.

A leader with nearly 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Golombek joined Tampa General in 2020. Most recently, she served as the vice president of the Muma Children’s Hospital at TGH and the TGH Women’s Institute.

She’s led both to impressive growth, the organization said.
