A press release on a new survey found that 57 percent of U.S. physicians in the often change their perception of a medication or treatment based on content they’ve seen on social media

On Feb. 15, New York-based Sermo, a physician engagement platform company, and Campbell, Calif.-based LiveWorld, a social media and technology solutions company, released a survey entitled “Changing HCP Behavior with Social Marketing.” The survey found that 57 percent of physicians in the U.S. frequently or occasionally change their perception of a medication or treatment based on content they’ve seen on social media.
