Surescripts and GoodRx launched Script Corner, a tool that gives patients upfront visibility into prescription prices and savings options.

Surescripts, a health intelligence network, unveiled a new product on Tuesday called Script Corner, which aims to improve price transparency for medications. The new product is in partnership with medication savings platform GoodRx, the companies announced on the second day of the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference in San Francisco.

Script Corner is available on a mobile phone and the web. When a prescriber at a participating health system sends an electronic prescription, the patient will receive a text message with a link where they can see prescription details.
