Compared to a year prior, more pharmacists, physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners agree that pharmacists should have more primary care duties, according to a survey conducted by Surescripts.

Only 36% of pharmacists think their current job allows them to offer patients all the care they need, the survey found. The push for expanded pharmacist scopes of practice has been a yearslong effort, and it seems as though more healthcare workers are on board.
