Frisco, Texas-based Magellan Health has introduced a collaborative care model for pediatric primary care providers.
The model, which integrates behavioral health support into primary care, has been validated in more than 90 randomized controlled trials, according to a Sept. 3 news release. It works to reduce barriers to access, improve provider satisfaction and deliver measurable outcomes for patients.
