PRICE HIKES — Obamacare enrollees aren’t the only ones likely to experience sticker shock over the next few weeks, when they see what they’ll be paying out of pocket in health coverage premiums next year.

Most of the 165 million Americans who have employer-sponsored health insurance will enroll in their 2026 coverage between now and the end of the year. Companies expect a 6.5 percent average increase in health costs per employee next year, the largest jump in 15 years, according to consulting firm Mercer.
