Social determinants of health, as well as care quality and care access concerns, are keeping older adults from aging in place.

The social determinants of health remain a key barrier to patient care, with social risk factors coming in as a leading cause of most older adults not being able to age in place, despite their own wishes, according to a new report from Edelman Intelligence on behalf of Fresenius Medical Care North America.
