Due to increasing pressures on healthcare delivery, various approaches are being devised to restructure healthcare delivery. One such solution is home monitoring. We see this trend not only in the Netherlands but also in countries like Spain. Pre- and postoperative rehabilitation of patients following surgery is being remotely managed at the La Fe Hospital.
