The acquisition of data company Sparta Science will allow Oura to expand its data analytics capabilities and its B2B offerings.

Health-tracking ring maker Oura announced it has agreed to acquire data company Sparta Science, which offers a platform that collects and analyzes health and performance information.

Oura will leverage Sparta Science’s Trinsic data platform to expand its B2B offerings. The company says the acquisition will enhance its Oura Teams platform to serve enterprise, healthcare and government customers.

Oura Teams is the company’s enterprise data management platform that allows administrators to invite their members to share data, manage users, visualize and download data, and review group trends and insights, including anomalies and patterns within group data.
