On the second anniversary of the overturning of Roe v Wade, check out recent coverage on abortion and contraceptive access.

On this day 2 years ago, the Supreme Court convened to overturn Roe v Wade. The ruling in the case Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health Organization eliminated the federal standard to allow abortions up to fetal viability and exacerbated a divide across the US.

Thirteen states had “trigger laws” ready that instantly banned abortion upon the decision.1 Since then, restrictions on the procedure have expanded to nearly 2 dozen states.
