SimonMed Imaging has introduced two new AI-assisted screening services—Mammogram+ and Mammogram+ Heart—designed to improve early detection of breast cancer and cardiovascular disease.
The Scottsdale, Arizona-based imaging provider said the offerings combine AI with subspecialty radiologist review. Mammogram+ is an upgraded version of the company’s previous Personalized Breast Cancer Detection (PBCD) program, aimed at identifying malignancies sooner while also factoring in breast density and lifetime cancer risk. Mammogram+ Heart adds an AI-based analysis of breast arterial calcification (BAC), a biomarker increasingly associated with cardiovascular risk in women.
SimonMed operates roughly 170 outpatient imaging centers across 11 states and is known for integrating AI technologies into clinical diagnostics.
