Siemens Healthineers and the fast-growing startup Medically Home are collaborating to “expand the growing movement of providing advanced medical care to patients in their homes,” the two companies said Tuesday.

The collaboration to join forces is a sign a technology and new way of delivering medical care that took off during the Covid-19 pandemic is not only here to stay but has a future. Increasingly, more healthcare is being delivered in the home as technology changes and pressures build to reduce healthcare costs by keeping patients out of the more expensive hospital inpatient setting.
