Shimadzu Medical Systems USA has acquired a U.S. imaging products and services provider as it seeks to expand its presence in North America, leaders said Thursday.
Founded in 1992, Vacaville-based California X-ray Imaging Services Inc. is an authorized distributor for several leading imaging manufacturers. The firm’s business is centered around the northern portions of California and Nevada, with CXIS establishing an “excellent business reputation” among customers, Shimadzu said.
