We all know the benefits of telehealth for rehabilitation. As physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech language pathologists, we have witnessed it firsthand, and the stories write themselves.

Think of the grandmother who could safely receive therapy from her living room after a fall, the stroke survivor practicing speech with family members joining virtually from across the country, or the caregiver finally empowered to support therapy carryover because they could participate in real time during a lunch break.

These are not isolated moments. They are everyday reminders that telehealth is more than convenience. It is access, equity and continuity of care.
