‘MEANINGFUL SOLUTIONS’ — Congressional Democrats are pushing for an extension of expiring Obamacare subsidies to address rising health care costs for Americans. Meanwhile, a growing number of Republicans are floating alternatives to that plan, including sending cash directly to Americans’ health savings accounts to pay for health care.
Today, the Senate Finance Committee is expected to examine both of those ideas in a hearing aimed at finding what it calls “meaningful solutions” to the rising cost of health care.
