The last day of open enrollment for Obamacare coverage 1 is typically Dec. 15. There’s no resolution in sight regarding the fate of enhanced premium subsidies that expire at the end of the year. Dueling healthcare bills failed in the Senate this week. For millions of people, Affordable Care Act premiums will skyrocket in 2026. It’s troubling that the Senate isn’t apparently working towards a compromise solution, as expiring subsidies negatively affect millions who rely on subsidized Obamacare coverage.
